After the success of Homi Milan as winners of Maker Design Award, three years after its foundation DUNAdesign exhibited for the first time, exclusively in Puglia, the Cardboard Collection. In the pitoresque setting of Palazzo Ventura in Polignano a Mare in the province of Bari, the apulian designer, architect Angelo Marzella and Engineer Pierfranco Marengo, present their personal exhibition of unusual furniture made of recycled cardboard, including lamps, objects, cabinets, tables and bookcases characterized by flowing and harmonics lines.
All exposed creations, handmade, are inspired by organic shapes of nature; these projects communicate emotions, stimulate the senses with their graphics and their colors, enhance and emphasize the use of natural and renewable materials such as wood and cardboard itself. The cardboard with its three-dimensional material structure, instinctively suggests an idea of lightness, although very strong to the touch. The eco-friendly design complements also combines functionality and design innovation. The cabinet takes on aspects that make it unique but at the same time versatile. Every element can be customized according to your individual taste to suit every situation and every space.
